Recognizing the world and regional development trend, constant changes in social needs as well as changes and impacts of climate change on agricultural production, right from early days of production model transformation, we have identified that only science and technology can help us improve our competitiveness and develop, meeting the constantly changing needs of production reality.

With the strategy of “standing on the shoulders of giants” to go faster and see further, we have focused on exploiting social resources in developing the company, expanding cooperation with public research institutes, international cooperation in transferring scientific and technological advances, especially we have cooperated with almost leading breeders in Vietnam to help us train a team of expert breeders and creators of F1 hybrid seeds, receiving technology transfer and mastering it.

We have pioneered in applied research and technology transfer with three research centers (10 R&D stations) and 02 biotechnology department in the company. Upon introduction of Decree 80/CP, we were the first enterprise in the Vietnam’s seed industry to be recognized as a S&T enterprise. We have participated in science and technology research programs, national key product programs to implement state-level independent projects, projects, international cooperation projects, as well as spent all our incentives to invest in modernizing technical facilities and human resources for research and breeding. From a unit that only sells common rice varieties, we have developed ourselves to a leading enterprise with great scientific and technological potential in Vietnam.
